Government Zirtiri Residential Science College successfully conducted its College Week 2026 from 14th to 18th September 2026, with students actively participating in a wide range of indoor, outdoor, literary and cultural activities. Events included chess, carrom, checker, arm wrestling, table tennis, quiz, article writing, poetry, love letter writing, drawing and painting, athletics, badminton, volleyball, football, basketball and cultural programmes. The activities were held at the College and various venues including Vaivakawn Joint YMA Field, Leitan YMA Hall, Durtlang Indoor Stadium, MZU Ground, Vanapa Hall, AR Ground and Armed Veng Indoor Stadium. The College Week Closing Programme was held on 25th September 2026 at Vanapa Hall, Tuikual, Aizawl. The first session featured an opening prayer, special items by the Senhri Cultural Club, a speech by the Principal, and distribution of awards for debate, cultural, outdoor and indoor events. The Best Boy & Girl and Overall Result of the College Week were also announced during the programme. The second session featured the Miss & Mister Contest, organised by the Students’ Union Leaders. The College Week provided an opportunity for students to showcase their talents, sportsmanship and creativity, while promoting teamwork and a spirit of healthy competition among the students.
