PARTNERSHIP WITH OTHER COLLEGES UNDER DELHI UNIVERSITY:
The competent authority of the University has approved in principle the proposed partnership of Institute of Home Economics (Delhi University) with two other colleges situated in remote areas, namely Govt.Zirtiri Science Residential College, Aizawl Mizoram and Govt. Degree College Tangdar, Kashmir under Vidya Vistar Scheme
Video Conferencing was organised between teaching staff of GZRSC from the Department of Home Science, English and Biochemistry and Institute of Home Economics (Delhi University) and discussed what can be done in partnership that is mutually beneficial to both the parties.
Draft MoU was prepared to be filled in by both the parties and lets hope this partnership be beneficial for both the parties.
Proposed areas of Collaboration:
Home Science:
1) Conducting webinars both for students and Teachers.
2) Guiding/Advising both students and Teachers who are aiming for further studies in academics and wherever necessary. Providing with resource materials and any other necessary advice needed.
3) Development of coarse material.
4) To have aa joint research activities and publications.
5) To have a joint Extension work in Community outreach programmes.
English:
1)Student exchange program through conduct of online panel discussion which will involve students from both colleges to enhance oral communication skills
2)Faculty Exchange Program where teachers from both colleges can take online classes on select topics of mutual consent
3) Joint webinar of topic of common interest
