The Alumni Association, NSS Unit, and Red Ribbon Club of Government Zirtiri Residential Science College (GZRSC) jointly organised a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp on 30th July 2026 at the College Campus. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, alumni, and well-wishers, reflecting the college community’s commitment to humanitarian service.
A total of 75 units of blood were collected during the camp and donated to Synod Hospital, Durtlang, to support patients in need of life-saving blood transfusions. The initiative was conducted under the theme “Donate Blood, Save Life”, promoting awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation and encouraging a culture of social responsibility among students. The college expresses its sincere appreciation to all donors and organisers for making the programme a meaningful success.
