A seminar on “AI & Future (Career and Education)” was organized jointly by the Department of Computer Science and the Department of Physics, Govt. Zirtiri Residential Science College, on 14th October 2025. Dr Lalhruaitluanga, assistant professor, Dept. of Computer Science chaired the program. The resource person for the session was Mr. Lawmnakima, CEO of LushAITech, who shared his valuable insights on the emerging trends, applications, and career opportunities in Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The seminar aimed to create awareness among students about the growing importance of AI in various fields and to guide them on how to prepare for future academic and career paths in this rapidly evolving domain.
Around 50 participants, including BCA students and Physics students, along with 9 faculty members, attended the session. Mr. Lawmnakima discussed real-world applications of AI, the importance of interdisciplinary learning, and how students can build the necessary skills for careers in technology-driven industries. The interactive session allowed participants to clarify doubts and gain a better understanding of AI’s potential impact on education and employment.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr Remlalsiama, Associate Professor, Dept. of Physics, expressing appreciation to the resource person for his inspiring talk and to all participants for their active involvement.
