The Library Committee of Government Zirtiri Residential Science College (GZRSC) successfully conducted a Library Orientation Programme for all first-semester students on 30th July 2026 at the College Library. The programme was organized to familiarize students with the library’s facilities, resources, services, and rules, enabling them to make effective use of the library throughout their academic journey.
The orientation was conducted in four sessions, with students attending according to their respective major departments. Faculty members also participated in the programme, demonstrating the institution’s commitment to promoting information literacy and effective use of learning resources.
The programme provided students with valuable guidance on library membership, book borrowing procedures, reference materials, digital resources, and the importance of responsible library usage. It concluded with an interactive session where students had the opportunity to clarify their queries regarding library services.
