GZRSC Students Shine at LITFEST 2026
Students of Government Zirtiri Residential Science College (GZRSC) brought laurels to the college at LITFEST 2026, an inter-college literary festival organised by the Mizoram English Literary Society (MIELS) at Pachhunga University College on 4th Sept 2026.
The festival brought together students from nine colleges across Mizoram to compete in various literary and musical events, including poetry, short story writing, elocution and the Acoustic Beat Contest.
GZRSC delivered an impressive performance in the English Elocution Competition, securing two of the top three positions. Brenda Malsawmzeli secured First Place, while Vanlalchhuawmi secured Third Place.
The college also performed remarkably well in the Acoustic Beat Contest, where the GZRSC Band secured Second Place. Pachhunga University College secured first place, while Aizawl North College secured third place.
The achievements of our students at the state-level inter-college competition are a proud moment for the entire GZRSC community. The college congratulates Brenda Malsawmzeli, Vanlalchhuawmi, and the members of the GZRSC Band for representing the institution with distinction and wishes them continued success in their future endeavours.
